Recognize these headers?
I just picked up a 350 engine. The guy gave me these headers and I am trying to figure out if they are worth getting an exhaust made for them or just get new headers. Anyone know what they are or if I should just keep them? The seller said they were hookers, but I can't find anything that looks like them.
both sides are the same. |

Unless you have a pumped up 350 that is going to spin 6k plus, just get the corvette ram horns 2.5'' outlet. Quieter and less leaks, good performance

Dont know who makes em but as long as theyre in good shape I would have no problem using them/

Lots of companies make a block hugger version like that. In order to find out which it is, you'd have to measure side wall diameter. The thinner it is, quite possibly the cheaper it is, or at least a low model of a popular brand. There's nothing wrong with them, but there's not much in the way of benefits either. I +1 corvette rams horns but that's a topic covered in detail many times.

go with the heddman mid lengths. I got the ceramic coat. Some of the best money I have thrown at the truck. Fitment was perfect. JM2CW

Shorty block huggers are a waste of time and money if you have the room to run long tubes. I'd chuck the huggers or put them on CL.
Also... headers aren't the nightmare that some meake them out to be. The main reason headers leak is from overtightening of fasteners that warp the flanges. Use the proper gaskets, and don't overtighten, and you'll have many years of a leak free performance upgrade (longtubes). Gary
