Re: Starting the final phase of body work
I *believe* the wheels were also a DIO item prior to the CUCV's. My '77 has them and the original owner said he bought it that way from the dealer in Pueblo.
Truck looks great BTW!

Re: Starting the final phase of body work
Well things slowed down a little. Bill, my body man came down with the flu this week.
What did get done is the seat got mounted in the cab, the door seals were installed, the dash pad was put back in, and the doors with some difficulty were hung. The difficult part of the doors was the bottom nut cage on the drivers side fell off of the pillar. We had to cut into the pillar to retrive them.

Re: Starting the final phase of body work
I know you would, but I just think of it as doing my good deed for the day. Although when I help you I count it for the week.
And I'm not going to paint your house.

Re: Starting the final phase of body work
Well things came to a screeching halt with a death in the family.
With the help of Nickp51chevy I have got back to working on the black bomber. Started to hook up the license plate lights and noticed that half of the wiring was losing its insolation. So steped up and now putting in all new wiring harness. Hope to have this done by April.

Someone at work wanted to see this build but couldn't find it so I'm moving it to the top for them.
Also adding some more recent pictures as it looks today.
