My engine was DBW but I choose to skip the cruise control and pedal wiring headache and changed to cable

I sure will since you're just up the street in what we call Far North Texas! I hope to talk to them today and get the ball rolling.

Re: PSI Conversions
I'm using there harness for dbw with the 4l80e I had #3 injector wire and the driver side coil pack wire pull out of the terminal so I called them up and they apologized for what happened if I remembered right I could of sent the harness off and had it checked and repaired but I already had installed so they sent me a packet of terminals and fixed them my self,

Re: PSI Conversions
Yes, thats all it is. You will still have the neutral safety switch on your steering column hooked up.

Re: PSI Conversions
Hey Aaron, I had forgotten that you had said you were using a PSI Harness as well. I am probably years away from needing it, but I figured I better get it now while I still had a little money left from the IRS savings account.

Re: PSI Conversions
the only thing that I have found that I dont like about the PSI harness is that the wire for the MAF isnt going to be long enough to work with my cold air intake......

Re: PSI Conversions
Larry that's correct, John the MAF wires on my harness are the same way, I going to lengthen the harness, I'll just need to get the factory piece that mounts the air filter to MAF

Re: PSI Conversions
I have a k&n and the maf mounts to the cone and its about 16" away from the throttle body....so I guess I'll do the same as you...or maybe there a pigtail to extend it?

Re: PSI Conversions
Guys, Jon at PSI can make you an MAF extension or you can buy from someone else. Do a Google search for MAF extension and you will see vendors on ebay and other outlets.

Re: PSI Conversions
Thanks Rat. If you guys find a good price on one, please let the rest of us know. I'm guessing I'll probably be needing one as well. I checked with PSI's online store and while they don't have one listed, I'd have to agree in that Jon could probably whip one up.

I'll have to remember to ask him about that when I call Jon back with the details to get a E38 ECM ordered from him.

Very pleased with my PSI harness - I've installed 2 of these without any problem - I lengthened the maf wires

Re: PSI Conversions
For those who got the PSI harness, did you get the AC recognition for $15? Jon at PSI said it adjusts the idle when the AC is engaged.

I got the a/c lead, ended up not using it. I have vintage air and wasn't sure which wire to connect. Nice harness

Re: PSI Conversions
Thanks for the info. I passed on the wire. Jon said I would most likely not need it. I plan on going after market ac as well.
