High mileage 5.3/6.0

Thanks guys, this is exactly what I was hoping to hear. What ever I get, I plan on swapping the cam and supporting items to get a good lumpy sound and maybe a couple other go fast goodies. My target is somewhere in the 400hp range. Just have to figure out the best way to get there.

400hp on a 6.0 is not a problem. Actually quite easy . If it has a set of 799 or 243 heads with a cam swap, decent exhaust and air intake and a tune your there. A 5.3 would be a little more difficult . You will have to be a little more creative to get that out of a 5.3. But doable . Either way these ls motors are a blast to drive. I don't even have a first gen motor any more .
