Engine Gurus wanted

Hi Guys/Gals, have a chance to buy a BBC 505 short block, completely done with new rods/pistons ,crank, bearings rings etc, with 13-1 domed pistons. My question ..... would a set of Dart Pro 1 with 310 cc runners be big enough, they are 119 cc chambers. Its a good deal if my heads will work, need to pass if they won't. O h yeah cam is a 257/267 @.672 lift. Thanks for your input

The question would be what cc is the dome on the so called 13.to 1. piston. If you have the piston brand and part number your best bet would be to call Dart and speak to a tech. I bet it would work but you need all the info. Then again is zero decked etc etc.

Good Idea Regan, piston is an SRP part no. is 139834,says with a 118 cc head comp would be 13-1.I will message them and see if it would work. Was more worried about the cubes and lift/dur with the 310 runner being too small, but then better that than too big
