Eric, it could be correct but to my knowledge that is a 70' only np205 shifter for a sm465. The auto 70 shifters look like the 71-72 np205 shifters, but are moved over further to come out more towards the center of the hump. Here is a pic I took of both types of 70 shifter, don't pay attention to the wrong 4speed tranny shifter.

Thanks trevor, mine looks like the one you are holding onto in that pic. So i can assume it has been changed at some point? I think i have a 69 CST blazer shifter handle here i should dig out. I think that was for a 205/auto. I think that would be an oddball one also.
