In my opinion you may have turning problems with the 35's. I think they will hit the back of the front fenders. You want to try your turning radius before buying tires.

I agree on the tires hitting, my last 71 had 35's but needed min of 5"s of lift and were still close, but the 35's sure look better than the 33's.

Could always look for the stock Hummer size tires, they were a 34.5" tire in the size of 315/70/17.

Appreciate all the concerns, i already bought the 35s before i even put one on. 500 for like new 35 bfgs wouldnt be hard to sell.
But they clear 100 percent fine, i drove the truck the 22 miles to my new house with no rubbing at all. 35s and 4 inches clear fine fore street driving, now that is with factory rallies so i dont have to worry about offset of aftermarket wheels. I would never go bigger then a 16 on a old 4x4 so 315 70 17 where out of the question. |
