Carb problems
I have a 1972 C20 402 big block. I installed a rebuild carb of the same type. Quadrajet. Now my issue is that I can not get the truck off the line. When I try to give it throttle from a stop it hesitates and pops through the carb. Once the truck is rolling at approximate 10 MPH it seems to drive fine. Then it starts over when I have to stop at a light. The timing is at 8 degrees. new HEI dizzy.
Ideas? |

All the lines hooked up? Vacuum?

Bump your timing up to 14 initial. Plug the vac line to the dizzy vac pot when you set it.
