nice, seems to be a steal.. $2600 for ANY running longhorn, let alone a custom camper anniv 68. Won't last long.

Re: 50th anniversary CST longhorn?

That could sit here months at that price lol I saw it & am kinda tempted to grab it but it's not really worth much more here in BC with our dollar 25% less than the USD. It not a desirable truck here, no LWBs are so they go cheap unlike in Texas & back east.

good deal for someone. If it had buddies or original paint it would be irresistable at that price!

Re: 50th anniversary CST longhorn?

The white repaint was not done too well. I took most of it off with oven cleaner. The plan is to refinish the body to original, a little dress up under the hood and add 16.5 slots.

Re: 50th anniversary CST longhorn?

If I had bought that was the plan as well to remove all the white paint as it looked like a poor job & just keep it stock. I was off & on about buying it for months tho till it sold lol

Re: 50th anniversary CST longhorn?

I talked with the guy for about 3 weeks, trying to get everything in order. Had Montway do the shipping, took about 9 days to get here. Told the wife I was more nervous than when my daughter was born.

Re: 50th anniversary CST longhorn?

hahaha well glad it worked out for you. Were you looking out this way for trucks or just accidentally stumble on it?

Re: 50th anniversary CST longhorn?

I couldn't fine any around home so, I started looking west. I found 3or4 in Cali, but they were such rustbuckets I didn't want to start with that.

Congrats on the truck and welcome to the site. I'm glad that white paint came off and the gold was hiding under there. I'm a SWOSU grad, so its nice to see a Weatherford member on here.

Re: 50th anniversary CST longhorn?

I'll be keeping track, also. Have friends near you.
I painted mine black about 15 years ago, ONLY to help protect in from rusting away, any worse than it was already. MAN, I'm looking forward to working on mine....
