Yeah I will have to give the torch a try. Little concerned about the wood bed, I want to preserve it to use as a template for the new floor boards.

Refurbished the steering wheel. Wouldn't mine hitting it with some more paint. Anyone have some good suggestions what to finish it with?

Good couple coats of clear would shine that right up.

There's bedwood dimensions available here if you need them: http://www.gmcpauls.com/47-72_BedWood_Info.htm

Worked on the drivers vent window this week, got it all restored with some fresh paint and rubber.

Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck

Found a 60/40 bench seat this weekend. It will work perfect for the front seat. Will be able to get to the back seat with one lever. Pulled it out of a 94 Chevy with the extended cab. Got it all cleaned up, it is in great shape. I will be mocking it up next weekend.

That is an awesome site! I wasn't sure of the dimensions for the cut in edges for the floor boards, and that site lays it out prefect. Would be nice to be able to use some of the products but they are all set up for short and long bed applications. I measured the boards in my panel and they are 10 1/2' long. I will likely have to make my own boards.

Drivers seat is in! The steering wheel is not done yet, still needs a few coats of paint. These seats fit in the panel perfectly, no modifications required. Now onto the passengers side

Re: 1963 GMC C30 panel truck

Passenger seat is mounted. Would have been better if I mounted them more forward. O well, just a bit tight for those getting into the back
