bumper mount light bracket

Has anybody found a good way to attach off-road lights to the front end of their truck. I was trying to avoid buying a grill guard to do this. They used to make some really neat brackets that attached to the bumper but newer truck design won't work and everything out there now is for newer trucks, so it's looking like I'm going to have to get some type of bar fabbed up. Any ideas ???

Re: bumper mount light bracket

What size of lights? I am installing a 20" led bar behind my grill by using fabbed brackets which attach underneath the radiator supports.

Re: bumper mount light bracket

I'm using some "old school" 100w KC 6" round lights. Love to put some led's on but at the cost it's just plain insane. I think I'm going to have to break down and get one of the old style Hickey grill guards I've seen a guy reproducing here.I may just go the prerunner style like this if I can get it made cheap. Hard to find one somebody wants to just pitch out. I'm so over my budget on this rig if my wife knew what I had in it I will be living in the thing.
