Re: crossover steering

Yeah cross over steering uses a 2wd steering box and the sway bar can be kept with a little work http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/chevy...g-swaybar.html but no clue on a swaybar and a track bar tho.

Re: crossover steering

I'm going to have to give this a try, I always assumed that a track bar with leaf springs would limit axle articulation. After seeing the way it's set up it makes more sense. I know this is totally different from a sway bar but looks like it may help with body roll (lean) as well?

Re: crossover steering

I had mine setup with a swaybar, but then I took it off and don't notice a difference. it doesn't lean even without it on there. and I rally this truck thru the back roads quite a bit!

Re: crossover steering

If you look at a 86-97 Ford F-350 with a D60, they came factory with a track bar from the factory. They had the shackles up front and without the track bar the truck drove like you had loose front wheels.

Re: crossover steering

I'm running PartsMike high steer & cross over steering along with PSC hydraulic assist. Couldn't be happier.
