spring experts

leaf spring front bushings for my 62k10. bought them from LMC and they are about 3/8" shorter than the org. ones. if pressed to the middle of the spring eye there is a gap on each side. Will this be ok?

also the springs leafs have worn spots in the adjoining leafs. can i dress these spots with a grinder? (I know i need new springs) not now.
just spent to much on this tk already.

Re: spring experts

Put spacer (washers) evenly on the sides and tighten up.
Grind a radius on the offending spring so it dosent wear into the spring above it.
