Just got a 99 5.3 silverado 1500 today!!!!
Been driving a little honda civic ever since I had kids. Sold the big dodge and drove the beep beep car for years. I gotta tell ya, I was skeptical about how much power a 5.3 could have, and this thing will roast tire from a roll! Extended cab, 2wd, captains chairs which I love, power everything. Its a sweet ride

I had a 2000 GMC Z71 excab for a few years. I sure did like that truck. I hope yours serves you as well.

Nice looking truck! I have a 2001 Silverado that I purchased about 8 years ago and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I had to get the extended cab version to fit the kiddies in, which I wasn't sure I was going to like at first, but it was a great choice in the end.
