I have a Hickey Side Winder Winch removed from a 72 Blazer. I don't know what all parts are missing or if it works. The Blazer was disassembled when I bought it. $300.00 plus the ride and paypal fees. It is heavy!! WES

For what it is worth it might be worth opening it up to have a look at the gears. I have bought two of these and both of them had water in them. The top cover acts as a catch basin and the water gets past the seal and into gear housing. Do you by chance have the front mounting bracket? I ought to buy it just for the mounting brackets and skid plate. Neat stuff!

Ya, I really didn't want to mess with it much. Just got it with the last Blazer I bought and trying to keep it from taking up more space in my shop. WES

I might be interested if you were willing to open it up. Not really much to it just the six or eight bolts on the top cover and about the same on the front. If the motor is bad that's not a big deal they can be had for about $90. Pretty big gamble otherwise.
