2006 Silverado shock replacement
I have a 2006 2wd Crew Cab Silverado that is in desperate need of replacing all 4 shocks but I don't know which to replace them with. I saw on another forum people kept saying to use Bilstein adjustable 5100 but when Amazon checked to see if they'd fit my truck it said they wouldn't. So I'm stumped. I'm tired of bouncing everytime I go over a little bump and really want to smooth my ride. Also I plan on putting a 3" body lift on it soon, I don't know if that will affect anything.

Re: 2006 Silverado shock replacement
It looks like the 5100 shock for your truck are only made for lifted 2wd trucks. The yellow Bilstein standard shocks would still be an excellent choice, front Part# 24-029025 and rear part # 24-029032. Also give the Monroe OESpectrums a look, I really like them allot and they are a better price point.
