I have read that article. I am not looking for big HP numbers, just a reliable engine that is efficient. Have you had bad experience with the 4.8?

I actually have no experience with the 4.8. I have had 2 silverados with the 5.3 and love the engine. The way I understand the article they are both great and the 4.8 only makes a little less power - sounds like it will work great in your blazer. I am considering an LS swap in my new project and may be more open to the little guy now!
