Anybody running BFG's KO2's??

Looking to see if anybody has the new bfg all terrain ko2. Pics would be appreciated. Just want to see how they look on the blazers. Don't know if I want white letters or not either.
Thanks

Ive got the KO2's on my '03 suburban and I can honestly say they are better than my old KO's that they replaced. excellent mud and snow gripping!

Running them on my 2004 3/4 ton burb. Absolutely love them, had several sets of the originals on a K5, Z71 extended cab, and a 1/2 ton burb. They are just as good as always, you won't be disappointed.

I grew up in the 70s, so I'm a sucker for white lettering on tires for that "performance" look.

I bought mine through Sears. However, you need to go to Sears' on-line store and get the price. The Sears tire center had a higher price in their system than was posted on-line. I pointed this out, and got an addition $25 knocked off each tire. My 35x12.50x16 AT KO2s were $240 each at the Sears tire center, but listed at $215 each on-line.

Yeah I've always liked white letters but just not sure since both look good to me.

Re: Anybody running BFG's KO2's??

you could always do white letters on one side and black walls on the other. lol. either way looks good, seems more and more people are mounting white letters out. I think black out makes the tire appear larger.

Guana, How was the Vintage Air install? It's on my to do list and I'm sure my wife would like it out of the living room.

Re: Anybody running BFG's KO2's??

I didn't have time to install it, wish I did had a retired GM mechanic install it for me. He said that it was a great kit, had to do very little modifications. All brackets fit like they should. He did say he had to perform a small amount of grinding here and there.

He also said that there is lots of flow coming out of the vents, that was one of my main concerns living in Louisiana and never running with the hard top.

My K5 also was delivered with factory air making the installation go somewhat quicker since he did not have yo make any dash penatration said for vents.

I am picking up next week so I will be able to give your info and also pictures.

Re: Anybody running BFG's KO2's??

Those are not good pressure readings. The vapor side is too low and the liquid side too high.

Re: Anybody running BFG's KO2's??

I must be the only person on the planet who hates bfg with a passion. I spent 1100 on a set for my 03 and they never grip in the rain, snow, forget it, mud, they get stuck in an inch of mud, wet grass is hell. I just hate them. I had the originals on before and they sucked too.

The not thing I like about them is the sidewall is aggressive and looks good, but they aren't really agressive.

Sorry, but that's wrong !!
Vintage uses a very low pressure "low side", around 10-15 PSI. The reading on the high side should be 2 1/2 times ambient air temperature. Judging by those numbers above, there's too high of a charge.
I've installed a few of these units BTW
