Radiators on Ebay

I'm looking to get a 3 row alum. radiator and am wanting to save as much as I can of course but not have to spend more in the long run. Has anyone bought one off Ebay? Ive noticed they are half the price as Summit and Jegs. Wondering if they are junk or not. Does anyone have any experience with one. Thanks for your and input.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Radiators on Ebay

I bought one off of eBay. Lasted 2 months, but I'd had it for 7-8 months before I got my Cheyenne on the road. No luck trying to get it warrantied.

Replaced it with an O'Reilly's one. Wish I'd have just done that in the 1st place.

Re: Radiators on Ebay

I keep coming back to those chr radiators over the past few months on ebay. Its interesting that you mention them. May go ahead and order it next week. If you have run a few of them and have had good luck sounds good to me. Thanks again

Re: Radiators on Ebay

That looks exactly like the one I had. Paid ~150 for mine, from these guys:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/asi_performa...72.m2749.l2654

Bet they are all made in the same factory & wholesaled to different outfits. My opinion is they are "luck of the draw" as far as quality. Might get a decent one. Might have it start leaking 100 miles from home.

Re: Radiators on Ebay

You should look at a quality 2 row radiator. More rows is not necessary better, it's counter intuitive. Read this: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/gener...rass-tech.html

I'm using this with great success, so far 11k miles with A/C in Hot West Texas.http://www.speedcooling.com/1967_197..._Radiator.html
It's American made and a direct drop in. See my build thread for more pics.

Lastly some pics which illustrate why a quality 2 row cools better.

I have drove my 71 2 times on the Hot Rod Power Tour. Both times over 3000 miles in 7 days. Not one problem with it. That's more miles than most people put on their trucks in 4-5 years. I run a LS-6.0 with 4l80e transmission and AC.
The CHR are full aluminum no plastic tanks, all welded.

3 Rows aluminum radiator for Chevy / GMC C/K Series Pickup Suburban Truck 67-72. They have all the right mounts hose connections for these trucks.
I put the same one in my Ramp truck and ordered one from them for the Impala SS. They maybe over sea's parts but they are very nice stuff.
I did buy new caps for the Ramp truck and Impala though. I had a good cap on the 71.

There is a ton of these on flea bay, one thing I have taken notice to is to look at the quality of the welds, some of them look like they let me weld it together
