Re: Project “Already Built” 68 Shortbed
It does involve the Vintage Air, the 4 holes that were already in the smooth firewall were going to create me a lot of problems with the brackets and definitely getting the hard lines thru. So I pondered on it last night and decided to weld the holes and drill new ones using the panel supplied by vintage air as template. I’ll post progress pics as I go....

and then after that, what's next
Just kidding, all you do and attention to detail is what makes the truck yours and a nicer build, don't forget to drive it and enjoy it. Mudman.

Re: Project “Already Built” 68 Shortbed
My buddy came over this morning for an extra hand in the sheet metal removal and I told him since we were this far into it might as well do an Ls swap. The wife didn’t think it was very humorous!!!!
Might leave that alone for a couple years

Re: Project “Already Built” 68 Shortbed
When I saw the firewall and read you were going to switch over to the GenIV kit for the 67-72 C10's, I wondered what you were planning for the lines. Now I know. Did you get the paint code from the PO or just having the store do a color match?
