Tilt column/power steeeing upgrade

Hi everyone
I am in the beginning of my most ambitious project yet in adding power steering and a new column and converting to a th400 from an sm465.

I ordered the jegs steering column 555-70476 so I can have column shifting on the automatic, and I have ordered the pitman and rag joint that will work with my new power steering gear box.

I’m trying to determine what other parts will be necessary to connect the jegs tilt column to the gearbox... I have the original column and manual gear box if I can re use parts I’d like to. The column has 1”DD input but from pics I can’t tell how that connects to the splines on the gearbox.. am I missing a part?

There should be a long squared "rod" that goes from the column to the gear box. I did this same conversion with my 68!

Re: Tilt column/power steeeing upgrade

The steering column says that it is a 1" output shaft, the stock column appears to be .75" does this mean i need a new shaft?
