Not sure. I've seen one single barrel design that looks similar but it has the bar going across the top with a bolt hole to screw into. It looks just as old and original as the rest of the engine.

I did see one video that a guy had an "air recycler"? between the carburetor and air filter. No idea what that was. This is killing me lol.
