front crossmember-pre runner bumber Build

Hay everyone id like to share my most recent update to my truck
this idea started out of the blue and a piece of 12in x 3/8in flat plate.

it may not be what you like or built the way you woud do it but its 100% my truck and my idea and i think it turned out ok.

whole thing is bolt on using factory frame holes (+ some holes) with 1/2in and 5/8ths grade 8 bolts and the bumber can be removed from crossmember.

tubing is 1 1/2in .120 DOM

only tools used were a welder and and angle grider.
hope you enjoy.

SO IT STARTS- FRAME WIDTH X12in FLAT PLATE SCORDED AND HAND BENT, SEEMS WELDED UP GROUND DOWN AND SMOOTHED.
(MY IDEA WAS A CROSSMEMBER THAT WOULD WRAP AROUND FRONT OF TRUCK FRAME.

CROSSMEMBER ALL DONE

Re: front crossmember-pre runner bumber Build

Update. I fabbbed some rectangular tubing upper arms. To be used with uniballs instead of ball joints.

Going to modify lower stock arms and will run a uniball set up there to.

Current project. Fabbing lifted spindles. Then front/rear disc brakes -hydroboost setup.

Already baught - 40x13.50x17 toyo mt. / real beadlocks - Atx slabs

Nice work. I'm liking your plan. You'll be having a true custom concept/build. Nice!
