Re: Runs terrible after sitting over night - Need HELP

My 72 started and ran very good this morning. Last night I switched back to the original short choke spring rod as suggested.
And I shortened the pull off rod again, for the 3rd time.
The fast idle was good and kicked down as it should after some warm up. The choke blade came completely open.
I readjusted the throttle screw to slow down the idle just a bit.
I'm very happy with the way it's running. I will retest again tomorrow morning but feel like it's all good from here.

"Thank you" again to everyone for your help. You guys are the best !

Re: Runs terrible after sitting over night - Need HELP

Quick follow up question:
Do you have a hose connection for that small (hollow) horizontal tube underneath the choke/choke pull-off linkage?
Or do you have a plug to go on it?
....note, that normally that little horizontal tube is connected to the small rubber (vacuum) hose on the air cleaner when its installed back on the engine.

If you have left it open and there is nothing on it, you will be experiencing a vacuum leak through it, so make sure it is connected or terminated somehow.

All good

Yes Coley, got that connected, and thanks for asking. I remember you mentioned that earlier but I failed to say that I had that hooked to the stock air cleaner vacuum hose.

I really appreciate everyone's help !
