Re: What did you do to your truck today.The 3rd chapter

I blew up my engine yesterday.
I guess it was just this engine's time. It's probably the factory 283. It has a rochester 2bbl on it and it smokes like a fiend, tons of blow- by too. I even topped off the oil the day beforehand, but I guess the rest of it was too thin. Regardless, about 12 minutes into my drive down Route 46, the gremlins came a'knockin.

Couple hours waiting for the tow, and the truck is back in the driveway, sitting until I find a new heart for it.

Well that’s not a good day ticket got punched let’s catch up sometime up just up the road in Hanover most of the winter

For sure, Jess! I could use a pal who's local with some experience building these rigs.

I'm not too upset about the engine, it was coming eventually. Now I just have a fire under my ass to accelerate that portion of my plans
