I think I still have a couple sets of 2nd row on the parts board for sale if you end up needing some. here is a general reference pic for the bracket attachment.

I started destructively looking into it, this looks like threaded black pipe for support with plywood, and something slightly thinner bent and welded directly to the rigid pipe. Home made? Not a bad job all in all, other than the welds kind of suck.

Thinking I might need to find a new set of seats, or re-weld these for the time being.

So Richard let me know what you've got and I'll probably take them. Shipping across the US is probably crappy though.

Looking at those pics I think the entire seat is home made but I could be wrong.

Re: 67-72 Suburban OE seats

Hey folks, can someone tell me if the second seat brackets are different if the Suburban had dual tanks?

That’s the problem...I don’t have any. I purchased a Burb and the seats weren’t installed. I asked the seller for the front brackets like the ones shown on page 1 of this thread and he doesn’t remember having those brackets. He is speculating it may be because there was a tank in the second row. All that being said, I’m trying to find out what should be there so I can get my seats mounted up

ah ok I read it wrong. If the tank is no longer there you should just need the standard 2nd row brackets like these. I think i still have a couple sets listed on the for sale board as well.

Thanks for the info. I’m trying to work with the seller so I don’t HAVE to purchase new brackets. I may buy yours and send the seller the bill if he can’t get his hands on them.
