69-72 Blazer/Jimmy Push-On Door Seals

The Push-On Blazer door seals will be in stock the 1st week of Nov. just in time to be at SEMA in Las Vegas also. We've added them to our website on our Blazer weatherstrip page.

Re: 69-72 Blazer/Jimmy Push-On Door Seals

So, if I don't run a hard top at all, there should be no difference between a single/double wall hard top as far as these door seals are concerned correct?

The door opening seals are not affected by no top, double wall top or single wall top. They all use the same door opening seals.

Re: 69-72 Blazer/Jimmy Push-On Door Seals

Last week we inquired on a specific date from Precision and received the following information.
""
We will be announcing availability next week once the inventory actually arrives and makes it through QC.
""
So we expect it to be either late this week to beginning of next when they all begin shipping. Everything they make goes through quality control before being bagged and placed into inventory and just waiting on that process to be completed now.

Re: 69-72 Blazer/Jimmy Push-On Door Seals

I would be interested how the door closes. I put a set on my c10 and it was real pain to close the doors. Maybe it will be better with 1/3 of the door surface missing.

just to have seals on mine...I bought a set of the truck style push-on ones and modified them.....I don't have my top on so I didn't need the triangle pad at the top for now.
The door shuts just fine..I'm anxious to get the correct ones for the K/5

This sounds promising, although I wonder if having the top on would create more resistance.

Speaking of the triangle pad at the top of the windshield frame - what are the hardware specs for the 3 bolts/screws?

I think that would relate more to the weatherstripping that is attached to the top itself...
I'm getting ready to restore my hard top soon....
I'm anxious to see as well

Re: 69-72 Blazer/Jimmy Push-On Door Seals

Are these seals long enough to go from windshield and complete the door opening? I was shocked the glue on ones I used were not.

If you ordered prior to Nov.17th the orders already been shipped and delivered, any orders after Nov.17th we are awaiting the completion of the current manufacturing run as we sold and shipped over 2 dozen sets ourselves before depleting all of our and Precisions available inventory. Currently we are awaiting the ETA on the current run being manufactured. So demand greatly outstripped the initial manufacturing run. We do have it set up though that as soon as this runs completed they will ship direct from Precision so as not to have to wait on them to ship to us then our shipping upon arrival.
