Re: What's up with all the ads?
I'm getting them too. Possible it's a wide-spread virus of some sort. I only say that because this is the first time I've cleared my temporary files, ID & passwords, but it didn't clear some ID & passwords, such as on this website.

Re: What's up with all the ads?
I need to look into it. Google.recently made some.changes to the ad formats and how the y embed them. It will be a few days before I can fully investigate.

Re: What's up with all the ads?
I think all this issue is from Google. I downloaded the add blocker that weq92f provided (just the first link) and all the adds went away

In my case, I just got a new laptop and I'm still stuck with how they set it up... all Microsoft stuff. and I am seeing these ads between posts that made me not want to use forums that used that format. I hate it! A bit too zealous on the advertising to inject it within the body of the conversation. Before, after, that's one thing. You take a glance or not. But don't interrupt me with your advertising. That's a good way to assure I will never buy that product.

Re: What's up with all the ads?
I did the Ad Blocker Plus download on both the computer and iPhone. So far no ads. I hope that took care of the ads!! So far, so good.

Re: What's up with all the ads?
I added the adblocker extension for my Google Chrome browser and that took care of the problem. After adding it I just restarted the page..

Re: What's up with all the ads?
I adjusted the setting Google automatically updated to. Please.let me k ow if they change. And if so please consider turning off ad blocker for this site, without the ads and member support it would cease to exist.
Thanks, Josj

Re: What's up with all the ads?
I turned off the add blocker and I am back to how the ads were previously, but unfortunately, Google has overtaken the adds that members pay to display on the site and replaced them with ads that are "personalized" to me. Not sure if there's a fix for this as well.
Thanks Admins for all that y'all do for this community!!
