it has been off and on for that amount of time, stopped for a couple times...once for a few months waiting on a celebrity who was wanting to buy it. But in this time the truck is only worked on 1 day a week over the years. So if you added the days up it works out to a couple year build.

Re: off it goes

Always love looking at the progress.

Are those door panels leather wrapped? (EDIT: I ZOOMED IN, and can see the stitching. Haha) Love the look and the scroll work for the center.

Where they heck did you get those bolt on wheel dolleys?

yes door panels are wrapped in leather...I wanted the stock look with a little more wow to it. The dollies are no longer available, built buy a company out of Canada that is no longer in business. They wouldn't be hard to build...

Them being wrapped actually give the edges of the plastic panel more 'depth'. The edges are nice & rounded vs. the sharp edge plastic typically has.
It's a nice detail when executed properly.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I have been trying to calculate the measurements from the pics you have to fab my own. i don't like the ones currently on the market that you just attach to existing 4 wheel dollies/skates.
