from Brandon aka the "Godfather" of LS Swap wiring - he has a *****in' website lt1swap.com that has all the detail of the pin outs and does a three part video series on You Tube on how to do it wire by wire, I watched the videos a dozen times there is a lot going on in them and he does not edit anything out, please give it a go

Aren't you the same guy who was posting temps because it was so hot?

Also, why is a tilt an old guy accessory?

AC, tilt, cruise control, power windows, power seats, not necessarily old man accessories just don't belong on a Hot Rod, those who do miss the point - less is more (and I'm right and everyone else is wrong, ha ha)

Re: A '54 named Busty

Had not seen his video. I will be watching it, thanks. I'm thinking LS for the 54. I mean what old guy needs more than one carb'd truck?

He hasn't mentioned her to me in a while. Maybe she's adapted to his antics. I'm a little concerned he may have swapped her for an LS.

Just checking. I'm not familiar with that device. Does it give you a measurement relative to the truck, or is it degrees off of level, so you need to take vehicle rake and slope of your garage slab into account?

the latter and I know my garage slopes forward (as evident by a pile of sockets in the two front corners of the garage at the end of each project, ha ha) however when I set that dial gauge on my garage floor the rise over run was negligible so I called that a zero and shot for 3° of engine slope downess towards the rudder

cutting, taping, thinning
extending, soldering, untaping, zip tieing, doing it again
shortening, lengthening, arranging, rearanging, doing, undoing,
removing, adding, heat shrinking,
wrapping, unwrapping... doing it again!

I should be able to get you one next week. I’ve moved beyond the wiring room living phase (at least for now) and she at the body shop getting an estimate.

Re: A '54 named Busty

That sucks! A perfectly good weekend and waiting on parts. I'm sure you can find something to work on, so it will still be a good weekend.
