If you put it on your truck, you'd never forget it. And I'm pretty sure it's the most romantic thing you can do.

How do you read that BTW? Sept. 16 and say what? Perhaps the unit was replaced being the truck was built May 71. If it was, can I change my order I'm kidding.

I know you wished it a happy 50th birthday in September

Whether it was original to the truck or a replacement...looks like it sat on the shelf a bit regardless. And you're getting 091601

Thank you. Better first shift following a drunk or second shift following a high? Perhaps graveyard is where you want to be, some of those guys are intense.

Re: Frigidaire AC compressor decals (Limited Time Availability)

Just a quick update. Got the final proofs today with everyone's actual code numbers in place prior to print....guys I couldn't be happier. They were able to "distress" the font so that the code number will appear stamped. It looks dead on in the proofs...can't wait to see it in person. I'll start the process of messaging everyone over the next few days.

Harold, bud...I'm sorry but I don't have you down because I don't have a record of you sending me a build date before today. If you sent it and I missed it in error, I apologize. I just went through my PMs to see if you had sent it and I overlooked it. I don't think I deleted a PM from you.

I feel really bad, but I did do a last call and a last last call and I posted the final list for review three weeks ago.

Re: Frigidaire AC compressor decals (Limited Time Availability)

Everything always has to be hard. Picked up decals this morning. Sat down to start stuffing envelopes before I even looked at them. Clearly an error on the code number font. Called the printer, they owned the mistake immediately, but it means a re-run. They promised to rush it. Sorry guys...I'll get em to you as quick as I can.

I'm not sure which emoji goes with this.

Re: Frigidaire AC compressor decals (Limited Time Availability)

Just a quick update. I got the proofs for the two additions back and approved.

I didn't comment on it earlier, but I noticed these decals were not printed on the same foil material as the one we did last year.

I brought this up with the printer, and they stated that the previous decal was printed on a "chrome" vinyl and that they had had problems printing on it at the time. They had to do several runs just to get the small number that I took home then. They didn't feel they could do that again with this volume of decals.

I do not think the compromise they came up with is good enough and expressed that to them. They have ordered a different type of "foil" material and will give that a try.

They continue to be easy to work with and understanding. But if we're going to go to all this trouble...they just need to be right.

Thanks for your patience. Hopefully a result soon.
