1970 C10 Steering Column missing parts

Slowly but surely putting this truck together I bought in pieces. Replacing cracked turn signal switch now and discovered I am missing 2 "washers" that appear to go between the shifter cup and the switch housing. It does have the plastic one below the shifter cup.
My question is does anyone have a picture of what those look like ? Does anyone know if they can be bought somewhere ? Or, is this going to be a junkyard type thing ?

See if this will help. Post #14 if it doesn't come up to it.

I don't have any more of them and as far as I know they are not reproduced. Maybe someone has started making them though.

Re: 1970 C10 Steering Column missing parts

If a 70 Monte Carlo non tilt column uses the same washers, I should have them in a steering column I pulled out of a 70 Monte Carlo parts car that I had. The column isn't going to be used in my 72 Monte Carlo as it has a factory tilt column.

Re: 1970 C10 Steering Column missing parts

Dan,

I will pull the column apart tomorrow after work. This evening right after work I had to install a new starter in my buddy's 07 Dodge Ram Cummins 3500 4x4 6.7, and then help my other buddy with fixing the battery terminal ends on his winch battery for the car trailer.

Re: 1970 C10 Steering Column missing parts

Strange, my 70 column was missing those 2 parts also. Never did find them. They weren't there when I took the column apart. I ended up putting in a tilt column, just not super happy with it. Doesn't seem as solid as I think it should. Need someone with a 3d printer to make a run of those parts.

Re: 1970 C10 Steering Column missing parts

I finally found my steering wheel lock plate tool an hour ago, and I got the parts removed from the column after taking it totally apart, if you still need them.

These are the parts I pulled from a factory 70 Monte Carlo non tilt column.. I don't know if they are the same or not.

Not the same as the truck. Here are pictures of the truck ones.

Edit: Just wanted to add. If you look close you can see a notch cut in part #39 from the 12 o'clock to the 2 o'clock position.
