I probably wouldn't go over a grand on it. I would let him throw out the first number. If he has been watching the auctions lately, he may think he has a gem.

Listen to Eric, he "knows" these trucks and deals with them much more than I do. He is most likely a lot closer in gauging the true value than I am. Again, let the present owner throw out the first numbers. That number will give you some insight as to where his thoughts are on the value. He may be watching too much Barrett/Jackson - Mecum- Russo & Steele and other auctions.
