6 Cylinder Radiator Pic Request
could someone kindly share some pics of their narrower (I hope) six cylinder truck radiator, especially the bottom outlet area, does it still come out on the outside of the frame rail?
I just measured the core on mine and it's as wide as a barn door 29" and it's 18" tall please and thank you, The Greg Last edited by Gregski; 07-21-2023 at 08:30 AM. |

I think the 67-68's are different than the 69-72, so what year?

Re: 6 Cylinder Radiator Pic Request
so this is what I am trying to address / eliminate not a fan of running the coolant lines along the outside of the frame rail as the lower radiator hose is really jammed in there between the frame and the outside fender, plus it doesn't allow me to drop my Tesla Model S electric water pump lower to be the lowest point the system and always ensure it is primed
so how do you all run your Tesla water pumps? LoL the before pics: this is bad (the clear hoses are just there for troubleshootin' so we can see the air gaps) |

Re: 6 Cylinder Radiator Pic Request
this is better but if I could get a narrower radiator, like a 22" I could run the lower radiator hose inside the frame C channel, any of you know of any donnor cars with small rads?
I was also thinking maybe find a 10 inch long 5/8" OD straight metal coolant hose to run instead to prevent shafing the after some adjustments pics: this is gooder, but still not happy with it |

Re: 6 Cylinder Radiator Pic Request
Thanks, I was trying to make my brain not hurt, so it looks like it sits right on top of the frame rail, which makes it even worser in my case
