Beautiful Girls

I really hate to admit this but my wife made me watch a movie last night called "Beautiful Girls" (which by the way, I hated-it's a total chic flic). In this movie is a particular snow plow some of us around here would be interested in. I was wondering if anyone here has seen this movie or the vehicle in this movie. From what I can tell, it's a '72 Chevy 4wd snowplow. The funny part about this is that at first glance it just looks like a shortbox pickup, but then right off the bat, they open the door on it and it has no upper window frames (like a Blazer) but it looks like it has the cab of a pickup. Then, throughout the movie, you can notice that it looks too short to even be a shortbox pickup. It looks to me like they grafted on the roof of a pickup onto a Blazer which is a pretty cool idea. It could be removable....has anybody seen this done? And better yet, is anyone willing to admit they have seen this movie??

I have seen that on later blazers (73 & up). I don't know if it was ever an option, or custom. The later ones had 1/2 roofs too making this custom job nothing more than a back wall. But nothing on the 69 - 72 blazer though.
Never seen the movie.

The truck that Matt Dillon drives in that movie is a Blazer with an aftermarket half cab.
