Probably originally a 283/SM420/T221. But I'll never know.

When I could not get my OEM straight Upper Clutch Push Rod fixed, and LMC's repop was wrong for a '68 C/10 Stepside w/292, I had my machinist thread a steel rod for heim joints.

Dog leg type on the '71 Jimmy w/350/SM465/NP205.

Wow! Post #6666
Does your '67 K/10 still have the bellcrank frame bracket riveted to the frame, and does it look like this?

Re: Question About Clutch Pedal Push Rod

I installed the new frame bracket and the bellcrank, and everything fit correctly.

Hi Pat. Yes the Z-Bar Frame Bracket is still attached to the '67's LH frame rail with factory rivets. As for its orientation, I'll have to look tomorrow.

Thinking of using it either on the '72 K/5 ''Phantom of the Junkyard'' project, or going Manual on White Fang's resurrection.
Either way it's a 292 L6/SM465/T221 lash up. I have all the cores. Just need to send the Machinist's Kids to college to get 'em redone.

Hi Pat,
I just looked at the Z-Bar D/S Frame Bracket on White Fang. It's the same as the one in Post #17. The cut-out leads aft.
I couldn't get a shot of it. Weird angle, dying camera batteries, packrat debris and shredded tire got in the way.
