Threaded bosses for the lap belts
Anybody have a pic of 72 Blazer rear seat lap belts where they bolt to the threaded bosses ? Did they have covers ? Thanks.

Re: Threaded bosses for the lap belts
So this is incorrect? Having this seat recovered and upholsterer says bolt/belt can't be removed if flaps are sewn in?

Re: Threaded bosses for the lap belts
Harry yours is setup like the 1st pic in this thread. I have a couple seats out of a 72 this way and just sold and older seat that everything bolted to the rear feet or floor. I "think" it was mainly due to seat with either 2 feet or 4 feet on the rear

Also, my '70 has seat lap belts bolted to all 4 legs, and I know the rear seat is 100 percent original to the truck. Will post pics when I can get to it.. Here is an unrestored 1969 with belts bolted to all 4 legs: Another unrestored '69: Another unrestored '69:

Re: Threaded bosses for the lap belts
I have had several 72 suburbans with 3rd row seats and only 2 floor brackets. Here is one I have sitting here now.

Re: Threaded bosses for the lap belts
My early 72 Flint Blazer (September build, double-wall, and speaker under A/C controls) has the same "71" seat pointed out here. The outer right and left "male" belts are bolted under the flaps of the sewn seat cover, and the cover has to be taken off the access the bolts. The center two belts are attached to two middle legs, just like the first picture above in post #2 by 1970cstblazer.
