What to use to remove this buildup
What would someone recommend to remove this ridge on rear of crank? Emeory cloth.. Thanks

Use some 220 emory and a little WD 40 as a lubricant.
If the groove is too deep, you can buy a sleeve to go over the crank to repair the area. Check with your auto parts store
