Brakes

I guess this is where I can post this lol sorry if it's not. I just got this new oldsmobile 400 engine in and stuff and I just now started to wonder if there is a better brakeing system I can put on my truck. what are the best brakes and is haveing rear discs better or just for looks. I"m looking for raceing style stuff I have to be able to stop this thing when it's flying down the 1/4 lol.

I can tell you we have brake kits on 3 drag cars. No drag trucks as of yet

All cars have 12 bolts. The owners have stated it was a huge difference.
One kit is on a 12 second ElCamino.

Now we do have several kits on daily drivers and off road trucks from 10 bolt to 14 bolt dually rear ends

It is a to each their own as to customers putting them on for show or betterness..
Some have put on for show, but the majority of customers have put on for performance..

I believe and know that they are better than what i had before.
I run 3/4 ton and 1 ton rear ends.
