1 more week until I get my truck back!!!!!

I get my truck back sometime late this week or at the beginning of next week and I can't wait to see it. There's a guy that lives here in town with me that runs the Nashville Auto Diesel College's Bodyshop and he took it down there in July to work on. He's had it since July. I let the students down there use it as a project. I did go down there 2 weeks ago to check it out and they were sanding the stepside fenders down to the metal. They went through it pretty good. Welded up the cab corners and my doors. My wood is all gone and to expensive to replace so they welded a metal bed in and I'm going to have it rhino lined the same color as the truck. They are painting it a fine metallic silver and they are going to put some ghost flames on it for me also that is a lighter silver. They are also going to give me some sound deadener to put down. I bought some 2000 chevy truck buckets on ebay last week and I'm going to put them in. They are also putting a ZR1 rollpan on for me.

I can't wait to see it!!!!!!!!

The one thing that kind of makes it sweeter is that he told me a couple of weeks ago that the admin at the school said that they would not take anything older than 10 years anymore. Mostly, because it takes too long to get the vehicles in and back out again. Obviously when you have a classic vehicle it's going to take some time to do it right.
