Weather was good, a little cold but not bad. Your Lexus would have fit right with some of off road examples that were there.

As of right now, I'm not planning on going. I hear it's a great show. I'd like to go but I have a very busy March already. I have a few fishing trips planned. One of these days, I need to get down there.
I had planned on going to LST this year but I had another obligation that came up.

Boooo... It would have been nice to finally meet you. We'd even make room in the C/10 Club Texas section of the show!

Yeah, I'm only going on Saturday. The C/10 Club is meeting up that morning to all drive in together.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Just curious, have you checked your mileage lately to see where you're at? I've been wondering how it compares with my 6.0. I've been averaging around 16 on most fill ups. How many miles have you put on this ol girl since completion? Looks great as always, Mike.

Thanks Jason. I haven't checked the mileage since 2014 but, I'm assuming it's around the same 18ish. I bet I could easily get in the 20 range on the highway. I will tell you though, I keep my foot in the pedal every time I drive it. It's just too fun to mash on it....

I've been enjoying the old truck, driving it when weather is good and even sometimes when it's not. I just rolled 3000 miles on the odometer the other day:

Your truck looks really nice Mike. I bet you were smiling the whole time while racking up those 3,000 miles.

Thanks Mark. Yep I get a kick out of driving the old truck. I'm sure you know what I mean. I get a lot thumbs up just cruising.
Sometimes when I'm getting gas guys just come up and talk to me about it. It's nostalgic to some or just cool to others.
I did meet up with a bunch of guys recently on the Hot Rod Power tour when it rolled through OKC. That was pretty cool too.
No doubt I don't ever get tired of driving it.
