What has been the average ambient temps outside when you have been painting? Also by estimation the temp inside the cover with the heat on? What type of heater, size ect?

Sorry for so many questions but i may be forced into the same situation if i'm ever going to get my truck painted

Here lately it's been on average of 30* out side and close to 75* inside them when completed I turn heat on high for a couple hours. Hottest I've seen inside was 118* on 45* day and metal was 107*. I'll post what heater I use when I go out. It's from northern tool and made by ready heater

Thanks guys!! Looking like I'll get tomorrow to get it done being the snow has shut down my job until Thursday or Friday. Maybe I can get it to exhaust shop and do some more final touches.

Re: Project "Irvin"

Yep, and it's in my trust going to one of my grandsons. Here it is today. I've put 32,000 miles on it since I restored it.

I've had almost every flavor 67-72 except a K20 (looking at one now), but this is the one we keep and drive, because the wife likes it.

I can't wait to see yours finished with the wheels. My wheels are dated, but so am I.

Re: Project "Irvin"

If my long range plans are to "bag" truck, should I change to high hump before installing carpet. Who sells them or where can I find one? Thanks

Unless you are doing dropmembers no you don't have to change the hump
