YOU GUYS ROCK!!
John, this was dated 6/20/08. That was WAY over a year ago.
Wholly Crap; I'm a 50+ female and even I could strip a truck and
catalog it's parts in a week!

I sure hope you kept all of your paperwork, good records
and whatever contract you had with them because it sure seems
to me you haven't won anything but grief in this whole thing.

Don't mean to be cynical but, according to their website, they
have have plenty of time to create "show cars" but have simply
stripped yours in all that time.

Demand a viewing.

If that doesn't work, demand that viewing with your lawyer.

If that doesn't work, demand a viewing of your stripped
truck with your local police officer.

Sorry Dude...there's been tons of folks looking for your good fortune
to have turned into a glorious new truck but now it does, indeed, sound
like your getting snookered.

Please act now.

I'll stay subscribed to the thread...hope it works out. ET

Man that's AWESOME!!! Put that 10 large to good work and show us all the progress pictures you can. We'd love to see how that moneys being used on the truck.

Congratulations on the WIN!
Dylan

Wouldn't it be interesting if they did this to your truck? It was on the Wheels page of their website lol.

Notice the word Lethal is in their name. I'm just messing with ya, this is still gonna be super interesting.

Well that's the best news I've heard all day.... CONGRATS John!!!!!!

Can't wait to see what the shop is able to turnout on your Burb! I would opt for the body work and paint, and then go from there.

John that is the greatest news!! Hope your Burb sees nifty improvements and that it's not gone from home too long.
Maybe you can interest some additional local sponsors to help continue the Burb's progress!
Can't wait for the build thread. ET

Re: Help me Rock My Ride and possibly win $500 for your truck...

Thanks everyone! We are definitely excited and I appreciate all of the suggestions. The Paint and Body work will definitely be the highest priority issues for the truck. I just don't see us pimping out the truck, but I am open to some minor custom stuff. I fear that the $10K will go pretty quick, so I will be budget minded to the point of making sure that the truck is functional and looks good before we get crazy on anything.

I owe it all to you guys and we are just getting started on the fun part. I will keep you guys posted and will rely on your advice to get me through this as cost-effectively as we can.

I'll let you guys know when I have more details, which will most likely be early next week. I the meantime, give me suggestions on what we need to do on the other thread at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=295587

THANKS EVERYONE!!!

Yeah, me too... Is Mike Ramstetter a member here? On the radio, they said that the address was not given for this person, so I was thinking maybe out of town, 67-72 Group? I hope so...
