I got this from your photobucket. But if you go to the "Manage Attachments" section, you can post from there.

Nice job on the roof, by the way.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I had to remove the fuel pump off the motor today, starting leaking ,, I figured out why it smelled like gas in the garage... and dumb ass me put my brand new inspection mirror in my back pocket of my coveralls and then decided to crawl under the truck,,, so much for the mirror,

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I must REALLY be gettin' old. I was just in there and cant remember anything plastic "inside" the door. Is there plastic in the window channel?
I know there's tape in there...some people blow it off for different kinds of glue, etc.

Help an old guy out....

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Ordered up a new distributor cap, plug leads, plugs to try and get rid of the pesky intermittant misfire I've had for a while both before and after converting the dual point mallory with a pertronix ignitor kit. I have a feeling it may be the leads as they are at least ten years old so this hopefully will cure it. I've also got a new water-pump on the way to replace the one that I spent hours cleaning and painting only to find that the crud must have been keeping the water in as the damn thing leaked when I refitted it and it's got very noisy bearings too. Another step closer to getting her back on the road next year.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Isn't it amazing what a set of wheels will do for the looks of a truck. I picked these up today from my brother, little cash and a little trading!

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic but was too lazy to hunt down my camera LOL!

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I took apart the driver's door to instal new weather stripping and felts. Greased the hell out of the window crank mechanism. Then the window glass fell out of the lower frame. Anybody know where to get replacement plastic piece that holds the glass in place?

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Replaced the drivers side defrost duct, the old one was ripped and there was no heat getting to the windshield, I had one from the 70 'burb parts truck, ended up having to replace the plastic duct on dash with a black one from my parts pile as it was cracked as well. Picked up new plugs and wires from Autozone and got to meet BIGBLU72, didn't realize it was him till I got to talking with him. He's the kinda guy you like to have wait on you at any parts store!
