i alos got a new whip and pistol for my 220 millermatic mig welder. so i should be able to weld soon >=] so good by speaker holes, bedside stake pockets, trailer wiring on the cab and seams like on the doors and the rockers to cab, random holes on the dash and then i need to re weld the bedsides to the cross sill on the bed.

well heres some pics of todays progress, today i changed the transmission oil filter and gasket for the pan as well as paint the pan. and another great news is.... SHE DRIVES ONCE MORE! i can drive it now
 but its still not legal.

thanks cameron! yeah im collecting hubcaps and once i get a large assortment that will work on my truck and im driving leagally in the 67 i will change out caps when ever i feel like for different looks.

theres 2 of them.... nobody would buy them for 150 or 200 bucks.... soo.... there scheduled to go to the scrap yard for aluminum... there still on craigslist. havent gotten a single call yet its been a year.

I got the good ole spotlight working again! Hehe I thought I would put a fuse in the wire going to the spotlight... It's a newer style 25 amp ( the little baby tan colored one). The old fuse that was in there when I got it was blown so I got a new pack of them and I now have the spotlight working again and 4 more fuses extra
 tired working with the horn... My horn guts in my wheel are very sensitive...  having complications... But I will get it sooner or later. Also darted welding up the trailer wiring holes on my cab. I filled the two screw holes, tomorrow I'm gonna try to cut out the circular peice and weld that in tomorrow. Posted via Mobile Device |

welded up the trialer wiring holes. couple pin holes still but its filled for the most part... ran out of gas, so i need to get more gas for the welder..... not going to be any progress the next 4 days. i wont even get to see it ill be gone.
lost one of my dogs yesterday... she was getting to old so we had to put her to sleep... sad to see her go, she was a good dog. |

well started her up and let her run for a bit, just to warm her up a lil keep it lubed up. and i sanded the cab corner down to bare metal.. now i just need to primer.

well after some observations and comparisons..... i realized that the spot welder thaty spot welded the dashes in the trucks at the fremont plant on january 5th in 67...... must have been drunk or tired or something. the inner metal of the dash is in my cab the way its supposed to be, the outer metal that you see is pulled to close to the driver. from the right side of the steering column to the cigarette lighter is all to far out so im going to have to drill out the spot welds, pull it back to fit the inner metal and clamp it then weld it back up..... so needless to say, im gonna have to gut the whole interior till its just metal and fix that all up....

A flat army green and black roof would be something I haven't seen and look cool for cheap, but with all the work you've done a true gloss factory two tone would be ideal in the long run
