Re: My 88 buildup on a tight budget
small update, had to order a new temp. gauge(aftermarket) mine stopped working. I also ordered a new TPS for it as well, and all this because I may be taking it to pick up the axle and other parts for my sas, and it'd be about an hour drive from here, one way to get them.

![]() ![]() I have a grand total in all the parts in both pics of a hundred bucks. $70 in gas for the guy who brought them to me, gave them to me for free just paid his gas, and then $30 in gas in the vibe we hauled them home in, which is my father in laws car.

Re: My 88 buildup on a tight budget
![]() ![]() it's been awhile. so figured I'd update. this is how she is now back in the garage have to build a motor. The 350 got swapped over to carb solving all my no refire and dieing issues but I put in a huge cam, and stiff springs, didn't know you need light ones for break in so I ruined a ton of lifters and lobes, got in the bearings and all. I swapped all the trans guts into another case to get rid of my cracked transmission case. I also did the dual feed mod to the th350 while it was apart. Now I'm just waiting on funds to build a motor for it, gonna be a 305 most likely so I don't have to buy a new crank.
