Re: Parting out 72 Suburban C10 402 TH400

Tom,

I'd like to get next in line for the second and third row seats if the other 2 fellas don't take them.

Payment sent for the cover via Paypal.

Regards,
Bill

Wow. Shipping is better than I feared. I'll take the seats if TedFrk doesn't.

Thanks Tom!

Tedfrk - he says $280 here. That was in response to your question one page back.

As mentioned above it would be about 280.00. They would be secured to a pallet and shipped via freight truck. Also the front drive line would ship with them. To save on shipping it would be a dock pick up. There are minor blems here and there. Overall these are pretty nice considering that they are 42 years old. Thanks,Tom

Re: Parting out 72 Suburban C10 402 TH400

tll74,

Sorry. I am going to back out too. I think the seats look great and the price is right, it is just the shipping that makes it hard to swallow. I will bide my time and wait for something to pop up on the east coast. I appreciate it though! Good luck!

Marc

Mark, they are still bolted to the engine. 175.00 for the pair tanked, acid dipped, media blasted, studs pulled, and ready to bolt on.

I should have it some where in my piles of parts. 10.00 plus 11.30 in a USPS flat rate box.

Thanks, Tom

Tom, Guyo here. Do you still have the spare tire cover for the Burb? Also, did you have a manual fuel valve selector for aux tank in a Burban? I am just East of Seattle 98033.

Re: Parting out 72 Suburban C10 402 TH400

Tom,

The seats and AC cover arrived late last week. I picked up the seats from the shipper on Friday, and the cover came right to the house.

Bottom line up front: no issues, everything arrived safe and sound. I am really happy with how well this turned out.

The cover looks great, thanks for wrapping it up in the foam blanket and surrounding padding.

As for the seats, I really appreciate the extra time, effort, and attention to detail that obviously went into building the box, keeping everything nice and tight, organized, well padded, banded, and wrapped in plastic. I had prepared myself for a couple hours of figuring out how to put everything back together, but was pleasantly surprised to find everything - parts, hardware, and seats - numbered, bagged and marked for easy reassembly.

Thanks for helping us bring the family project a couple of big steps closer to being done. I look forward to doing more business with you in the future.

Regards,
Bill
