I am running the same wheel on my burb and the shop installed the tilt and wheel but did not hook up the horn because a I am missing something necessary to hook it up. Do you know what kit if any you had to use for the horn? Do you have any pics with the horn button off? Truck looks great!

That's an idea, but my OSU graduate daughter might take exception. My OU grad son would love it though!

I bought the wheel as a kit from Classic Chevrolet in OKC. Had everything needed for the horn to work. I'll get you a pic.

On the way to get bedliner sprayed.

Had it done at Line-X. I think these places are in collusion - they are all about $600 for black and another $100 for color.

It is hard to believe, and I've witnessed it. All it takes it time, money and talent.

Some pix of progress. I hate to think about how much this pile set me back

Kyle,

Is the discounted price part of the “special” package all of your customers receive, you know like the free set of Intros?

Headed south today? Tom looks great! Is the plan still to flip him? Are you gonna keep him through the season, or is he on the market? Have Fun, and buy Kyle a beer!

Yes, the plan is to sell Tom, but if he doesn't sell right away that's ok. He will probably do the Power Tour before I get too serious about selling him.

Kyle has really done an incredible job. Hats off to you!!

Re: US Tom

We need a better picture of the finished product that Kyle posted. Bed liner looks great and with the hood on TOM is killer. To me that stance is perfect.

Enjoy your weekend!

Re: US Tom

Tom made his first public appearance at Good-Guys Ft Worth today, and the general reception of Tom's satin paint job was surprising, to me at least. I know I like it, but I wasn't sure how it would play against all the shiny cars there. He did quite well for himself.

Only a few bugs need to be worked out, but the biggest relief to me was the 700R4 I purchased off CraigsList. I shifts like a new one, the brakes are really good and the new steering box is tight with the quicker ratio. Tom feels like a new truck, solid with no rattles - a real pleasant surprise.

Here's a few pix - I promise to get better ones soon!

The buddy buckets. I'll hide the e3 remote for the Ride Tech system in there.

Here's Tom getting fitted with his new Flowmasters - sounds real good! This was on Thursday. Note the odd stance? The display cable connector came apart, temporarily leaving the stance like that. Fortunately, I had another cable from my Biscayne and that saved the day. Today at GG's, I went to the Ride Tech booth to buy another one, and they gave me a free onem, under warranty. Nice!

Another shot of the interior.

One the way to GG's. I love how different light changes the color, but always shows the body lines.

Tom's first show.

A Vette that caused me to lust in my heart....

And a few before pix:

Fun project! A huge thanks to Kyle for bringing my idea to reality. Tom's not quite done, but Short Changed is feeling short changed.
