Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

my '71 stepper. 2.5" drop spindles and 3" springs in the back. 275/60/r15 on all 4 corners. Perfect for what I was looking for.

Took a HUGE hiatus while playing with my TBSS. Drug the truck out of the garage and put staggered steelies on for better clearance upfront. Like the look, jury is still out on the hubcaps

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

here is mine and its gonna have to have new front tires. its to low for comfort!!! these are 225/50/15 im fixing to put 255/60/15 so we will see what it looks like. its kinda a balancing act caus Im pretty sure after the tire swap im going to have to trim fenders and maybe relocate hood hinges

I would get a tire that is as tall as the back for a level look that fills out the front wheel well.

I'm not sure what your wheel specs are, but I've got 265's (although on a 22" wheel) on all four corners of mine, without rubbing problems. 255's should be fine, if your tires aren't too close to the fender now. If you're concerned about rubbing the fenders, you could always just go taller, not wider. Say a 225/75/15? Just a thought.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

THis is my first time to post here. what a great place to get info. This is my '70 I just starded on. I just finished the drop this weekend. 5" drop coils in the rear, 3" drop coils in front all CCP. McGaughy's 2.5 Drop spindles and Disc conversion in the front. Replaced axle shafts with shafts from 1979 Chevy Truck to get the 5 lug. These are just my roller wheels tht were on the donor truck that had the axles so I can roll her around till I'm ready for my real ones.I still havent replaced the shocks yet. I'm not sure which ones to get for it.
