I didn't post mine right away, but take a lot of pictures anyway so you can put it together easier and we all can see the before and after pictures when your done.

Yeah looks like a long bed....
1963k10....261 wasn't a 63 factory option. Best of my knowledge the 261 was 1954-1962. Are you sure its a 261? Maybe some pics will help. The 230 & 292 were the optioned 6cyls for chevy and you could get a big block v6 in the GMC. Its a great looking long bed and 4x4 w/spare carrier is definitely cool in my book.

Yeah it is a long bed, Actually in 1963 the 4x4 kept the 235 as the standard motor and the 261 was an option as well as the 283.

Well plan was to do full air ride drop to lay frame but finances are tight so holding out for porter built. But until then it has djm lower control arms, blocked rear, and 3" drop springs up front. Just a fun little truck.
